About Us

HELP THE PEOPLE THAT HELP YOU

Write to Change was founded by a group of high schoolers from the Bay Area. Our main goal is to spread awareness of the impact of  COVID -19 on the dedicated essential workers. We also want to spread hope, love, and happiness to nursing homes, retirement centers, health care institutions, and retailers. We always look for volunteers who are willing to help, bringing the community together!

We created Write to Change during quarantine to play out part in helping the community and social workers. We want to help reduce some panic that came along with this worldwide pandemic. Being in love with art and crafts, we wanted to use our skills and create something unique, expressing our gratitude. Furthermore, as students these nurses and doctors serve as our role models: someone we aspire to be in the future. By handing these cards out we show our support to those on the front lines.

With the help of numerous volunteers we are able to reach our goal by sending out more cards and crafts to support the ones that work tirelessly to help us. There is never a shortage of gratitude to share with the ones around us. Small steps can make huge impacts. One of our main goals is to bring a smile on the recipients face to help appease some of their stress during this hard time.
